A-Wing Fighter

A-Wing Fighter
A-Wing - Author's Collection

"Kuat RZ-1 A-wing Interceptor are starfighters in the Star Wars franchise. Designed and manufactured by the Kuat Systems Engineering, they are depicted as fast but fragile interceptors of the Rebel Alliance, conceived for high-speed surgical strikes, deep reconnaissance and escort fighter duty."

Republic Gunship

Republic Gunship
Republic Gunship - Author's Collection

The Hot Wheels Republic Gunship shown above is labelled "12." On the back, it depicts Jango Fett's starship (which used to be called "Slave 1"), a snow speeder, and a Star Destroyer. If these constitute a complete set, then I still need to obtain a snow speeder.

"The Low Altitude Assault Transport/infantry (LAAT/i), also referred to as the Republic Gunship, Republic attack gunship, Assault Gunship or LAATi,[2] and nicknamed a larty,[15] was one of the several models in the Low Altitude Assault Transport line of starships that mainly served as gunships and troop transports for the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Its role was to transport clone troopers as well as offering air-to-ground and air-to-air support for the Galactic Republic against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The LAAT/i gunship saw extensive use in numerous battles and campaigns of the Clone Wars. During the Imperial Era, the ships continued to see use by various factions, including both the Galactic Empire and Alliance to Restore the Republic."

Naboo Starfighter

Naboo Starfighter
Naboo Starfighter - Author's Collection

The N-1 starfighter, also referred to as the Royal Naboo N-1 starfighter, Naboo N-1 starfighter, Naboo starfighter, N-1 fighter, or more simply, the N-1, was a single seat patrol craft developed by the Theed Palace Space Vessel Engineering Corps and used by the Royal Naboo Security Forces.

I bought this ship at a Walmart in Plano, Texas. This was a ship that a very young Anakin Skywalker used in the movies.

Anakin Skywalker's Jedi Interceptor

Anakin Skywalker's Jedi Interceptor
Jedi Interceptor - Author's Collection

As with most of the Hot Wheels vehicles I've found, the Interceptor includes no information about the vehicle, its exploits, etc. The box is labelled "22." It appears to be part of a four-ship collection which includes Anakin Skywalker's Jedi Interceptor, a Star Destroyer, the Ghost, and the Scythe.

"During the late Clone Wars, the Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker flew an Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptor. Anakin Skywalker piloted the interceptor during a mission to rescue Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine during the Battle of Coruscant. The starfighter was destroyed aboard the Separatist flagship Invisible Hand."

AT-AT Hot Wheels Starships Prototype Ship

AT-AT
AT-AT - Author's Collection

This picture shows the AT-AT, or "All Terrain Armored Transport." It's one of my favorite Star Wars vehicles, and I got a large version of it for a Christmas present. You can see part of it pictured on the right side of the colorful AT-AT. You can discover more about Hot Wheels' Starships Select here. Curiously, my AT-AT does not feature the colors cited on the web page.

The picture, or rather the vehicle itself, is not particularly attractive. For that reason, I almost didn't buy it. However, since the Walmart I was familiar with did not carry a large selection, I went ahead and bought it. I bought it in Plano, Texas.

The complete name for the vehicle is Hot Wheels Starships Prototype Ships. With the addition of this AT-AT, I now have the AT-AT itself, the Millennium Falcon, a Naboo Starfighter, Carson Teva's X-wing fighter, and Ahsoka Tano's T-6 Jedi Shuttle. I believe these vehicles constitute one complete set.

Carson Teva's X-wing Fighter

Carson Teva's X-wing Fighter
Carson Teva's X-wing Fighter - Author's Collection

The cardback doesn't say anything. There are articles about Carson Teva here, and his X-wing here. That's about as detailed as it gets.

Ahsoka Tano's T-6 Shuttle

Ahsoka Tano's T-6 Shuttle
Ahsoka Tano's T-6 Shuttle - Author's Collection

Ahsoka Tano's shuttle was designated as T-6 1974. Ahsoka and Sabine Wren used it in their search for Ezra Bridger. I purchased this ship at a Walmart in Plano, Texas. Learn more about the T-6 Series shuttle here.

The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter

The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter
The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter - Author's Collection

The Mandalorian's ship is a Naboo Starship. This Hot Wheels version has nothing to say about the vessel (watch The Mandalorian to find out more, I suppose). Fictionhorizon.com, however, has this to say, in part:

An N-1 Starfighter is a single-seat starfighter that was specifically designed to be used by the Royal Naboo Security Forces. It was designed by the Theed Palace Engineering Corps of Naboo and is said to have a maximum speed of 1,100 kilometers per hour. It is also equipped with its own hyperdrive system.

Jawa Sandcrawler

Jawa Sandcrawler
Jawa Sandcrawler - Author's Collection

I've always wanted a Jawa sandcrawler, so when I found this one at a Walmart I had to get it. I never had one of these when I was growing up. Their price online, including Amazon and eBay, was a little high. I didn't want to pay such a high amount.

I found out some interesting information when I was researching for this post:

  • Sandcrawlers were about 121 feet long.
  • The vehicles were created in Corellia. This is the place where freighters like the Millennium Falcon were constructed.
  • The Libyan government crossed the border of Tunisia to investigate whether the sandcrawler set was a military vehicle.
  • The sandcrawlers were originally designed as ore haulers.

I found my information on Wikipedia and the Star Wars Databank.

More on Jawas here.

Imperial Scythe

Scythe
Scythe - Author's Collection

The Scythe first appeared in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, which I watched two times. I guess I didn't pay attention, because I never noticed it. I'll go back and check it out. The cardback for this model gives no description. Star Wars Fandom has, in part, this to say:

"The Scythe was a Phi-class shuttle of the Inquisitorius, the Galactic Empire's group of Jedi hunters. The sleek starship was named for the Sith that the Inquisitors served and boasted harsh angles and an intimidating frame It had a hyperdrive and was armed with a pair of laser cannons."

Imperial AT-ST

Star Wars AT-ST
AT-ST - Author's Collection

I've always loved imperial walkers of all sorts. This picture depicts an AT-ST, which means, "All Terrain Scout Transport." They were in service with the Galactic Empire. They are also (funny) referred to as "chicken walkers." I wish I had a larger one. The AT-STs were used as scout and reconnaissance vehicles but they also packed a punch. I would also like to have an AT-AT.

I got 60 dollars' worth of Amazon cards. I recently purchased some Star Wars action figures. I like, in particular, droids. About three of my purchases were, I think, droids. I know I got R2-D2. I really want an R4 droid.

X-34 Landspeeder

X-34 Landspeeder
X-34 Landspeeder - Author's Collection

The picture shows one of the first Hot Wheels vehicles of the Star Wars franchise that I ever bought. It's an X-34 Landspeeder, similar to or identical to the landspeeder used by Luke Skywalker in A New Hope. It's labeled HW Screen Time 10/10. When I was little, I had a full-sized landspeeder with two seats and two additional spots for droids, R2-D2 and C-3P0. I think it was a Christmas gift.

Ghost

Space Ship Ghost
Ghost - Author's Collection

I didn't know that this ship was canon until I did a little reading. I've got some catching up to do.

Edit: 8/21/2025. Since I made this original post, I have watched some of Star Wars Rebels. In the very first episode, we see the Ghost, Hera, Ezra, Kanan, Chopper, and Sabine Wren (among others).

Princess Leia Organa (Boushh)

Boussh
Boushh - Author's Collection

I purchased this vehicle from Amazon. It's a representation of Boushh, a bounty hunter impersonated by Princess Leia Organa.

"Boushh was a male Ubese from Uba IV who worked as a bounty hunter. Following his little-known demise at the hands of the Black Sun crime syndicate, Princess Leia Organa impersonated him in order to infiltrate Jabba's Palace and free Han Solo."

Edit: After I received this package from Amazon, I found it in a Dollar General store. SMH.

Millennium Falcon - Star wars

Millennium Falcon
Millennium Falcon - Author's Collection

I had one of these when I was a kid. Well, it was a bigger version. The top of the ship was removable, and the pilot's canopy opened up. I think I had figurines of Han Solo and Chewbacca as well. They are (were) the owner/pilot and co-pilot, if you didn't know.

I didn't know that there was a Hot Wheels version of the Falcon. I was about eight years old when this ship first appeared on the big screen. It's a famous vehicle, and to write fully about it would take several posts.

Star Wars The Mandalorian: The Child

Star Wars The Mandalorian: The Child
Star Wars The Mandalorian: The Child - Author's Collection

The Mandalorian, The Child. Also known as Grogu, his real name, but affectionately known as "Baby Yoda." Hot Wheels collection, 10/10. This vehicle is a valued piece of my collection, especially since my wife likes him so much.
