Fantastic. I've been looking for this scene for quite a while. It came out in 2003, about 21 years ago. It took place in the first episode of the BSG miniseries, which aired in 2003. It was followed by another BSG TV series.
In this video, the Battlestar Galactica and the Colonial Fleet are attempting to leave Ragnar Station. I love the way the Galactica turns in front the the Cylon Base Star, in preparation for attack (and defense of the fleet). The BSG waits until the fleet jumps to new coordinates and the last of its vipers (combat fighters) are recovered. It is under heavy fire while all this happens, and it returns heavy fire.
This show is a remake. Television versions were released in 1978 and 1980. I was a kid when they were released, and I loved the original Starbuck and Apollo. I didn't really care for Lorne Greene as Admiral Adama. He reminded me too much of the TV western, Bonanza, in which he was one of the stars.
This video was found on the channel of Science Fiction Station.
Edit: Another reboot is evidently being discussed; it may drop early in 2025.
