The (former) USS Sachem (SP-192) is now called The Ghost Ship because it now lies abandoned in a creek in Kentucky. The yacht served in World War I and World War II. The vessel was launched on April 12, 1902; it was abandoned in the late 1980s because it was too expensive for the owner to maintain. The small vessel began its life as the Celt. It was later named the USS Sachem (SP-192), the USS Phenakite (PYc-25), the Sightseer, the Circle Line V, and today it is called The Ghost Ship.
