After the events of yesterday, I feel like my X-wing has crashed. We went from Oklahoma to Texas, visiting doctors and pharmacies. My prescription(s) were supposed to go to a local Wal-Mart pharmacy. For whatever reason, they were sent to another local pharmacy.
My wife had a tooth pulled. It had a cap on it, and the cap had been there since she was about 17 years old. It went quickly. Her appointment was at 2 P.M. I got her there at 1:45 and she was seen almost immediately. At 2:05 she was through, and we set out for home.
We got home and got changed into more comfortable clothing. Then we headed off to get my medicine. We then headed west toward Wal-Mart. We had to pick up the wife's medicines and also get some groceries for my elderly mom.
We got mom's groceries delivered, and then somehow, we ended up going back to pick up a few things of our own. It was during this time that I bought a plate stand for one of my models. I also bought a large Micro Galaxy Squadron AT-TE Dreadnought Class vehicle. It set me back $38.
Looks like we're heading out again, later today. Our window unit that I just installed in the living room has stopped working. I'm not sure how I'll remove it from the window. I am sure that I can't do it on my own, since I'm under doctor's orders not no lift anything.
Oh, last night we almost ran over a large hog. If my wife hadn't been going slow and paying attention, we probably would have hit it.
