I was recently disappointed to hear that Star Wars The Acolyte had been canceled, and so we won't be seeing a season two. Most of the reviews that I read online were negative, but I liked the series. There was so much that could have been done (spoilers) such as delving into the story of Darth Plagueis and the interaction with Yoda at the end.
Last week I bought two Star Wars-related items from Amazon. One was a vehicle for me, and the second one was a keychain for my wife, who loves "all things Yoda." The picture shows what I bought her. It's The Child, a keychain. She loved it and is taking it to work to put on her desk.
My sciatica is acting up today, and I had to reschedule my PCP appointment for next Thursday. I was supposed to see him tomorrow (September 17th) but I have to drive my mom to her own Dr. appointment instead. Annoying. I also have appointments with my VA doctors on the 20th. It looks like I'm going to be out of the house for all the wrong - and aggravating - reasons.
My completed shelf is still on the front porch. I'm trying to let the smell of the varnish dissipate. It still has a strong spell.
