I finally got the time to start - and finish - staining my desktop shelf. Now I'll leave it outside for a few days so the smell of the varnish will diminish. Also, I bought a Mandalorian action figure last night. My brother and I, or actually just my brother, owned a figure of Boba Fett when we were little. He even had a large Slave I; the figure could "pilot" the vehicle. In those days, Star Wars action figures cost $3.14 after tax. I remember my father practically shouting in disbelief when he asked the price. He couldn't believe they were that expensive. He seemed to despise the Boba Fett character; he wouldn't use the name Boba Fett but instead called it "Baby Fat." It pissed me right off, though there was nothing I could do about it.
