The picture shows my desk, which I made sometime in the early 2000s. It's where I keep my desktop computer, the computer where I do all the household business that I can do online. I conduct my VA business here, do taxes, pay bills, etc. Normally, my Star Trek and Star Wars collections sit on the very top of the desk. They've been removed until I can get my new shelf completed.
As far as my shelf goes, it's assembled but not varnished yet. I planned on doing it yesterday, but it was raining. Yes, Texas got some much needed rain. As soon as I get the shelf varnished, I'll post before and after pictures.
We went grocery shopping at Walmart tonight. We usually aren't able to go on Thursday, but since we could we decided to go. We normally buy for three households when we go, so going for ourselves and ourselves alone is something that we enjoy doing when we get the chance. This evening at Walmart I bought a Star Wars figure, a Stormtrooper. I'll post the picture as soon as I can.
I also bought a Star Wars Hot Wheels vehicle from Amazon today. I ordered the vehicle and a "Baby Yoda" keychain for my wife. Then I hopped on Temu and bought two Star Wars keychains, another "Baby Yoda" keychain, and a "Baby Yoda" plush. All of the Yoda items were purchased for my wife. I'll post pics if she can turn them loose long enough for me to photograph them. She's going to be happy.
