It's been a tiring day. My sciatica has kicked in, so much so that I had to take one-and-one-half doses of Tylenol 3. I'm allowed to take two a day, as needed. Whatever the case, I accomplished a lot today.
I located a board that will become a shelf in the future. I thought it was a 1 x 12, but it isn't. It's about 11' long, 3/4" deep, and 9.5" wide. It's good enough; I only need approximately 5' of it.
Next, I'll attempt to locate some decorative shelf braces. I have some stashed around here somewhere, I just don't know where they are. I'll also need some half-inch wood screws, a length of 1x4, and some wood stain. In my current state, it'll take a while to accomplish, but I do have the necessary tools. I plan on documenting the project as it continues, until completion. The board is smooth, but I think I'll do some hand-sanding on it.
