I've made some progress on my "RX-7." As I proceed, I've noticed that it is also similar to a "UFO" that appears on the Scooby Doo series. I'm not sure about the year. So, my toy has the characteristics of an earth rocket, a UFO, a Star Trek vehicle, and a Star Wars land speeder. The only problem I've had so far is that I had to cut the saucer section with a jigsaw. It's not going to be a perfect circle. I hope it won't be too noticeable after I get it painted.
Today I had to "dog sit" my mom's dog while she went to the doctor. Chaos (that's the dog's name) whined and yelped for a few minutes, but after that she was fine. Watching a dog is sort of like watching a very young child. Annoying.
My wife's first cousin has a deep freezer that she is going to give us. She says it's "ugly looking but works." I think I'll wire up a place on the front porch and then install the freezer on the porch. I'm unsure what size it is; anything is better than nothing.
I started this blog post on Thursday. It is now Friday. I had to quit because I got a "codeine headache." I was so sick that I was forced to lay down around 8 P.M. Today (Friday) I've been doing okay. I've done some laundry and dishes. I've worked on my homemade spaceship, and I've started putting a clear coat of paint on some of my wife's outside gnomes. I'm not sure what we'll do for dinner. We usually buy groceries on Friday night. I'm not sure if we'll do that today or tomorrow.
Edit at 9:57 P.M. - We did indeed buy groceries for everyone except ourselves. The family is supposed to bring that deep freezer tomorrow, so maybe we'll get to go get our own groceries tomorrow. I had planned on accomplishing much more on my "homemade toy," today. It'll have to wait until later because I'm sleepy and want to head off to bed.
