I'm happy that my wife got a good report from her doctor today. She's had rhabdomyolysis twice this year. One time it was caused by a statin. The second time she had a UTI that went septic, and the rhabdo followed. Now she's fighting an ear infection - at least it's not life-threatening.
I started my "RX-7" a couple of days ago. It's not going to look like the original. I actually found various pieces of model battleships that I am going to incorporate into the design. Plus, the entire ship is going to look different. No more rectangular boards. 😏
When I went to the VA for my medical appointments, I had to stop at a Family Dollar store for something (can't remember what) and I found the haunted house in the above picture. I thought it was cool and, surprisingly, it only cost me $3. I've got it sitting on a shelf next to a lamp and a pumpkin. Also, at another dollar store, I found a miniature Christmas tree. Now I have replacements for all of my office decorations. I put my other ones in a box at some point last year, and I can not find them anywhere.
Today I worked on a desk drawer that my wife brought home from work. Somehow it got broken while she was in the hospital. I also worked on my "RX-7." I made pizza for dinner. In fact, as soon as I get done with this post, I'm going to post a recipe on how to make pizza dough.
