I've added a few pieces to my Star Wars collection. I will eventually begin to photograph them and post them to my blog. Probably next year, if I had to make a guess.

On November 1, I had an MRI done on my lower back. MRI scans and I don't get along very well. I am claustrophobic to the point that I have panic attacks in confined spaces. Once, I had to use the "panic button" and stop the procedure because I couldn't handle it. I was put into the machine, and the one mistake I made was keeping my eyes open. It was like being in a coffin, or so I thought. It's funny now, but back then one of the thoughts that I had was, "If zombies broke in here, there's no way I could crawl out."

This time around, I was a bit more prepared. My doctor prescribed two never pills, called alprazolam, which is also known as Xanax. I had to take one 30 minutes before the procedure, and one just before the MRI. The medicine seemed to mellow me out. Also, I kept my eyes closed the entire time. The technician told me it would take about 15 minutes. I suppose it did, but it seemed like forever. Finally, though, it was over. I completed it. Now I'm just waiting to see my doctor again in order to hear the results. As it was explained to me, I might have to be subjected to pain control in the form of injections. Surgery is a last resort. After talking it over with the family, we decided that surgery is out of the question unless it's absolutely necessary.

I'm actually feeling a little bit better. But this is not always the case. A couple of days ago I took a step and almost went to the ground (left side). I guess I'll see what comes next.
