I cooked military style creamed beef or "SOS" for dinner. The recipe called for 1/2 teaspoons of nutmeg. Our small town's grocery store was sold out. I also checked a dollar store, and of course, they didn't even carry it. I texted my sister-in-law and, luckily, she had some that she let me borrow. I served the prepared meal over biscuits, and it was good, though I put too much salt in it.
There's not too much going on in the Ren household. I cooked, am still working on laundry, and took a photo or two. I'm still working on blog content. And dealing with a cat who is all up in my business, even as I type. We're not having a traditional Thanksgiving this year. We're having ham and dressing, cranberry sauce and rolls; and whatever sides we decide to prepare.
