Yesterday and today I ate dinner at a place called King's Buffet. I suppose it could be called a Chinese buffet. It also has various kinds of American food such as onion rings and fries. Their fried shrimp is very good. The most surprising thing that I tried and enjoyed was their blue crab. I'd never had crab before. It's really good. They offer all kinds of fruit as a dessert, and I liked that too.
The hospital situation is still "so-so." My wife has good moments and bad moments. Still no news as to when we might be released, but I don't think she's ready yet. She is eating a little better but is still getting a nutritional supplement. She's still on antibiotics and is still, of course, hooked up to a temporary colostomy bag.
I've been napping off and on today. No matter how much sleep I get, it seems as though I don't rest. I'm exhausted, both mentally and physically. I hope the days ahead are much brighter.
