Happy Mother's Day! Today I visited Red River County in Texas. I have both relatives and friends in the area. I went to the area to "explore" some historical sites. It was fun, and it was especially fun because I had a companion, someone to talk to. I often travel alone.
In the future, I will be posting pictures taken during my trip. The picture featured in today's post is of the Tuggle Springs Cemetery, a historic place. I'll post about it again in the near, or maybe distant, future.
Tonight, I'm going back to old-school cooking. I haven't prepared a meal in quite a while (my daughter has been doing it). We're going to have barbeque chicken, macaroni and cheese, beans, and fried squash
I took quite a few pictures today with my iPhone. I forgot to take my Kindle. I don't really like taking pictures with it, anyway.
