The pasture got (partially) mowed a couple of days ago. I'm not sure why they missed such a big spot. The high spot farther out is, I imagine, ground that has been torn up by wild hogs.
It was a long, hot day, and nothing really happened other than normal housework. I did prepare a big dinner. We had fried pork chops, mac and cheese, yeast rolls, mashed potatoes, and ranch-style beans. I also fried some straight out of the garden okra. Everyone enjoyed the dinner.
