The Gathering, Part 2
The third thing, a female, spoke. "I am Blue, she who can never die. I cause men to turn to the wayside. If I am slain, I shall return. I am the great one among the Order of Rending."
The fourth spoke, "I am Wrap, Queen of the khopesh and the companion of the jackal. I am third in The Clergy, the daughter of Allatu. My judgment is swift, and I show no mercy."
Then, the fifth thing spoke, "I am Gouge, he who is called The Sticker. I bring swift judgment to all who call upon us. I am the door to the beyond. I bring pleasure, and I bring pain. Experience is my gift, when I choose to bestow it."
Cachexia spoke again. "The humans above offer a multitude of sacrifices to a god they call Yom Kimil. What say ye? Shall we accept these offerings in his stead?
