The phrase "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn" is a chant used by cultists in the Cthulhu Mythos, created by H.P. Lovecraft and expanded by others. It has been translated as, "In his house at R'lyeh, dead Cthulhu waits dreaming." It's frequently used by cultists who are devoted to the entity, Cthulhu. It's all fiction, of course, but I've been "hooked on" Lovecraft since my brother introduced me to him, long ago.
I've been working on blog content for 2026. I'm pleased to say that I'm already working on content for November of 2026. I think 2026 will be the year that I begin to post a (public domain) tale on my blog, from Lovecraft himself. I haven't forgotten about 3820, the novella, but I haven't revisited it for awhile. It's still on the to-do list, and I won't stop until I complete it. The story of Izzy, Ethan, and Dobbs City (and various other people including Hannah Wilson) has become important to me. Hang tight, I say that to me as well as you: It's coming.
