I sighed. "As much as that thought might be appealing, I'm willing to forget about it. I'll let you sleep again after you tell me one thing. Every soul I've talked to has directed me to you, so I have a single question. Where is the gold that you so jealously guarded?"
"Bah, damn you," he practically spat at me. "Walk 30 paces north from my grave, Inquisitor, dig down, and you shall find it. It is enough that you shall never again pretend that you have to work like a normal man. Now, please release me."
"Very well, General, you may sleep in peace." The spirit groaned as soon as it was released, and I walked back to my vehicle. I retrieved my spade and headed again into the forest.
