I've been working on assembling the dog kennel, but it's so hot and hard to stay outside in the heat. Didn't have that much to do today; I only went to the grocery store and a convenience store, so I've been home much of the day. Oh, carried my mom's groceries to her today after having picked them up yesterday. She's almost 80 years old and has a little trouble getting around.
Our 65" Vizio stopped working, so we had to hang or re-hang our old 55" in its place. That's not good when you're sitting across the room with poor eyesight. I'm not sure if we even have the option to have it repaired. I don't know any repairmen.
I started watching Star Trek the Original Series last night. I watched the first episode; an hour-long program called The Cage. Turns out that I had seen it before, but I didn't remember it until I turned it on. I forgot that Captain Pike and Number One were in it. Right now, I'm focusing on watching ToS and Discovery. It's going to take a while to consume both series.
Edit: I saw on the news that someone evidently tried to assassinate former President Trump. Bad, bad business.
