I watched this movie in 2023 and also on July 28, 2024. I thought it was a good movie, though a bit predictable. There's only so much you can do in this kind of film.
The Nun has a few jump scares (one got me!). It's almost light-hearted in some scenes. Overview: A Catholic priest and a soon-to-be nun set out to investigate the site of a nun's recent suicide. They must find an ancient relic filled with the blood of Christ, and use it to vanquish a demon, Valak, who takes the form of a nun.
Main cast: Demián Bichir as Father Burke. Taissa Farmiga as Sister Irene. Jonas Bloquet as Frenchie, and Bonnie Aarons as The Nun (Valak). The movie is part of The Conjuring franchise and is a spinoff of The Conjuring 2.
