I just came into my home office a short time ago. I was treated to an awesome sight when I was outside. Venus was bright in the western sky. I miss the days of looking at the sky through a telescope. I couldn't do it now, as it's 27 degrees outside, at 8:15 p.m. In a few days, the temperature is forecasted to rise into the 60s and low 70s. That's Texas weather for you; it does as it pleases.

Last night the low temperature was 11 degrees. This is not unheard of in North Texas, but it's colder than we like it. It's supposed to drop to 19 degrees tonight. Everyone is careful to ensure that their water faucets are dripping, so the pipes don't freeze. I would have large puddles of water on our land and driveway, but it's all frozen. All I have is ice. Yesterday it was snowing at 6:30 a.m. But no accumulation, thankfully.

One of my mom's faucets (bathtub) froze yesterday. I told her there was nothing she could do except leave the faucet on full blast. She texted me earlier in the day and said the water was coming out just fine.

I'm supposed to be getting another action figure of Boba Fett. I tracked the package. It was supposed to be delivered today. I don't think it's going to happen. Maybe tomorrow.

I wrote and published an e-book that I wrote from 2023-2024. It was well received by family and friends. It's a book of short fiction, with one novella. I'm considering posting it, in its entirety, on this blog. The book's title is Washita and Other Weird Tales.

My doctor's appointment went well. My dosage of gabapentin (nerve pain blocker) was increased at my request. My methocarbamol (muscle relaxer) was renewed. I was started on a new medication (pill form) for my psoriasis. The burn on my arm is healing, though I was told that I would have "nasty" scar tissue when it heals all the way. I guess I'll always be branded. I got the burn when I passed out from low blood pressure and fell onto an electric heater.

This morning when I got up, I felt weird. I was halfway losing my balance. I checked my blood pressure, and it was too low. So, I didn't take my medication for it today. This evening, blood pressure was almost normal. I still have to get it under control. It's inconsistent.
