I spent much of my day updating the blog with pages of my e-book. It's going to take longer than I thought to get it all done. Some of the stories are longer, so they have to be broken up into a few or even many pages. When I get to the novelette, Washita, it's really going to take a long time. I have developed a system for faster transcription, but it still requires a lot of work.
As you may have noticed, I have frequently commented about how I am troubled. I talk constantly about my worries about family health. About three weeks ago, my wife was diagnosed with colon cancer. Last week she had a final MRI and a CT scan. The surgeon called tonight at 9:30 p.m. to say that the scans looked good. There is no evidence that the cancer has spread, and the tumor is in an ideal spot. Surgery is scheduled, in the Dallas area, for March 27 at 7:30 a.m. I will make fairly regular blog updates using my phone. Thanks to all for thoughts and prayers!
