There's so much going on. I found out today that someone emptied my bank account. There wasn't that much money in the account, but still. I don't know if I was scammed or not, and I won't know until Tuesday when we change our account information. I've got bills to pay, and they could be late because of this fiasco. I already know that one will be late.
We went back to Walmart yesterday, after having already gone Friday. We had to go get my wife's insulin needles and some things for the kids. We saw our friend who works at the store. We hadn't seen her in quite some time because her shift hours changed.
So...this week we have to completely redo our banking information. I hope it doesn't make my other bills late. That'll have to be done on Tuesday. Then, tomorrow, it's another trip to Plano for an MRI and CT scan. I don't know how long it'll take to get any results. Finally, also on Monday, I get the joy of talking to Social Security on the phone at 11:30 a.m. I'm tired of having to speak to them. I guess if I'm driving, I'll have to take the call on speakerphone. I'd just like to have another few days of peace and quiet.
In blog news, Eliza was released in February. The ongoing story of Eliza will be posted to the blog whenever I get the inspiration to write about her exploits. She's going to be a "stand by" character for whenever I want to write about "fantasy" topics. The character of Eliza is loosely based on my maternal great-great-great grandmother.
The three parts of The Borrowing were released in February as well. Abe Tucker was released in February-March. I have, right now, three other short stories that I want to publish in March. All of my stories are accessible from the menu on the right. Or, you can find the original main page here and the newly created page here. I never knew I'd have so many stories. Before I had a stroke, I couldn't write fiction of any kind - not even bad fiction. Now I can write bad fiction.
I still plan on publishing my eBook to the blog, but I don't know when it'll happen or when I'll even be able to start. I did make (and tested) an experimental graphic for the main page. I haven't made any more progress.
I renewed my membership to the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society. I got my new membership stamp in an old-school-style telegram a couple of days ago. It's pretty cool. As always, peace to you and yours.
