Monday, we went to Sachse, Texas, to have some tests done. On the way home we stopped at a Cotton Patch restaurant for lunch. I remember enjoying Cotton Patch when we went to the one in Henderson, Texas. The one we ate at on Monday (don't know what town it was in; it was in the Dallas area) wasn't all that good. We won't bother to go there again. We wanted pizza, but the two places we tried to eat at were takeout only. I didn't like it, as I really wanted some pizza. We ended up eating at Cotton Patch and got some pizzas at Pizza Hut closer to home.
Yesterday, due to storms and high wind, we lost our power at 7 a.m. It stayed off all day until about 17 hours later. We went into a local town to eat a late dinner. I went to bed, aggravated, a little after 8 p.m.
I was in the dark all day long with no company for most of the day, except for my daughter's dog. He can be seen in the picture. It was taken in January, and he was eating a snowball. My daughter was gone about half of the day for a doctor's appointment.
