I went home a couple of days ago to get more medicine and to wash clothes. I enjoyed the sight of trees and green grass. I even saw hummingbirds. It's amazing what you take for granted. In the city, there is only concrete and buildings.
My wife is better but still has some effort ahead. She's not eating enough and has to have a nutritional supplement delivered intravenously. She also has drain tubes that are causing pain. On the brighter side, her appetite (maybe) picked up a bit. We walked down the hallway yesterday. She's also taking less pain medication. One of the drain tubes is supposed to be removed today. It hasn't happened yet.
I'm thinking of walking over to and around Building 3820 a little later. It seems surprisingly inactive to be a four-story building.
