Hospital, April 3

Okay, here we go. The day after my wife was released from the hospital, she got very sick. She was transferred by ambulance to Plano, Texas. The colon surgery did not heal properly, and it caused an abscess and infection. She had emergency surgery to correct the problem. She was moved to the ICU in critical condition. She's now awake and is responsive. The main surgeon told me that she is getting better. She had to have blood, magnesium, and an insulin drip. She has a temporary colostomy bag. After they get her healed, they will remove it and reconnect the colon again. A short time ago, she drank juice from I cup that I was holding. She is aware and knows who I am. She recognized her parents and her sister. On the brighter side of things, the cancer did not spread into the lymph nodes.
