| The Outbreak |
Late one evening, Mr. Gatlin received a phone call from Mr. Weston. Amy Watson had been killed in an automobile accident and had been transported to the funeral home. Gatlin was not devastated, and he hurried to the funeral parlor to test his serum.
The grainy video shows Gatlin, with Weston present, injecting the serum into Amy's seemingly undamaged body. There was no reaction, at first, but within 15 minutes the corpse sat straight up and broke Weston's neck. The resurrected Watson raged throughout the room, chasing and finally seizing Gatlin himself. He succumbed to his injuries.
The cacophony from the embalming room was heard by John Fuller, the primary owner of the business. He had arrived at the facility to tend to another case and Mrs. Abigail Higgins, the funeral home's secretary, was there as well. Both individuals were set upon by the reanimated corpses of Watson, Gatlin, and Weston. The film shows that they were quickly dispatched.
A passerby heard the disturbance inside the funeral home. Fearing that the parlor was being vandalized, the police were summoned. Chief Abraham Flemings responded, alone, and quickly discovered the source of the activity. He then summoned Dobbs Institute personnel.
Dobbs Institute has always been known to law enforcement as an organization that deals with what we call, today, "paranormal" activity. The chief was one of the few who knew this. Of course, he never knew that we are funded by the U.S. Department of The Treasury.
