I had a good day today, a good birthday. I got, like, 150 dollar's worth of cash and Amazon cards; so, I did pretty well. Yesterday I had a visit at the VA clinic to see my doctor. All is well, well, all is normal. I took several pictures while walking on the grounds. The Huey (helicopter) is something I wanted to photograph for a while. Unfortunately, there were limbs and a lot of clean-up activity taking place, so I could only manage a poor picture. There were limbs and trees down because of recent storm damage. One day, when the limbs are clear, and maybe it's a little cooler, I'll be able to get a better picture. For now, I could only get the picture shown above.
I had to have lab work done, and my appointment stretched later into the evening. I had to leave town immediately to pick my wife up from work. I wanted to visit the local Walmart and the Goodwill store. As I needed to get back ASAP, I didn't have time to go to either place. I want to go to Goodwill soon, and I hope to do a bit of travelling in order to take more pictures. I've found many great deals, especially dishes, at Goodwill. I don't think I've ever bought clothes from there, but I usually always manage to find something that I'd like to have.
