High-Son, The Return
"A unique color," said the man. "The place names you spoke of: These sound like names from a nightmare."
"Perhaps. One of my brethren possesses the ability to open doorways that allow us to travel to many places. I could open the door, and you might find Akna. She yet lives, you know, but dwells now in another place."
How do you know of Akna? I didn't mention her name.
"I felt her essence as the priest killed her. As soon as you walked to my campsite, I could tell that you miss her greatly. Her spirit entered the Liminal. She has been searching for years for a way out."
High-Son, stunned, said nothing. He was trying to process the information given to him by Blue. Then, the woman's eyes flashed blue, the same blue color that High-Son had originally seen.
