Four Years Later - High-Son's Errand
"The Sun Tribe's god is called Yom Kimil. They call him the Lord of Death. The city is in the constant process of sacrifice, sacrifice in the honor of this Yom Kimil. My intended wife and the others captured along with her have certainly lost their lives in that place."
"We have heard rumors of this city. What can you tell us about the place? Moreover, young man, what do you want in return?"
"Captain, the city is large and constructed of stone. In the center, there is a step pyramid. A single set of stairs leads to the top. At the top, there is nothing to be seen, only a sacrificial altar."
"As I understand it, the king, queen, and priests have their dwellings at the base of the pyramid. If one were to attack and destroy the leadership and especially the foul priesthood, the city would die. Perhaps the kingdom itself would collapse. The territory would certainly fall into your hands."
"And, as to what I want...I want to see the city fall. I want to see the inhabitants subjugated. I want to see the end of that nation, and the destruction of its priesthood."
