Libya, 2009, Part 3
"Take this, and be careful," ordered Abdul, handing Williamson a rifle. "I'll stand guard." Williamson entered the cave, and Abdul took up a position at the entrance of the cave."
Warily, Dr. Williamson entered the cave. He had his rifle (with which he was an expert) held up and at the ready. He stepped forward when he heard a hissing noise coming from the back of the cave, just beyond the blue.
A harsh voice spoke. Williamson paused to listen. He couldn't understand what was being said. "Sprechen eart þu Englisc? Hwat wylt þū habban of mē?" He continued to pause, confused by what he was hearing, and then the voice spoke again. This time, the voice was soft and clearly feminine.
"English. Do you speak English? What will you have from me? Knowest thou not that I am of the djinn?"
"The lowest of the djinn, if what I've heard is true," said Williamson. "I had questions to pose. I was commanded to seek peace with your people. We were fiercely attacked before we made contact. We did nothing to you, yet you attacked us. Who are you?"
