Izzy, 2025, Part 15
"I told him you'd like it; it's your favorite pizza," said Ethan. "Do you guys want a beer? I went by DCB's and bought a case of DCB Ale."
Izzy wagged her finger at Ethan playfully. "Now you're talking. I'd love a beer. Hey Chris, do you need me to give you some money back on that pizza?"
"Naw," Chris waved his hand as though he thought the question was silly. "It's all good, Izzy."
"Come on, guys, and sit down," said Ethan as he walked into the kitchen and went to the opposite side of the island. He retrieved a pizza box from the top of the microwave and asked, "Want it warmed up?"
"No, it's fine," said Izzy, as she let her shoes slide off her feet. Ethan then opened her beer and took three beer mugs from a nearby cabinet. He wet the rims, dipped the glasses into salt, and then tilted the mugs at an angle before pouring the amber liquid. He then squeezed lime into the glass.
