I took a final picture of my Halloween decorations. Much of it will disappear, being packed away, and some of it will be used for Thanksgiving decorations. We went to Walmart yesterday, after finally getting the car's AC fixed. The blower motor had failed. It cost $360 to have it fixed.
I wanted to go to a county fair that I heard about. It opened on Wednesday and closes Saturday. I haven't had the chance to go, though I did drive by earlier. I didn't get out. I noticed smoke billowing from on-site smokers.
Today, the day I planned on going to the fair, it is raining. It rained really hard for a while. When I was little, I remember that it usually rained during the week of the fair. It was a different company that supplied the rides and some of the treats back in those days.
I enjoy looking through the exhibit and craft buildings. I even like looking at the livestock. However, I do not ride the rides, and while many local groups, churches, etc., cook at the fair, I never eat it. I knew someone who got food poisoning from eating the food, and it still has me scared. I can't ride the rides because they make me dizzy and quite sick.
