Izzy, 2025, Part 19
"It didn't take me long to get bored again. I went back down the stairs and sat at a small kitchen table while Mom worked. She finished tidying up and started mopping. Then I noticed Mikey was back to running up and down the hallway. He went into a room...and that was it. It was the last time I ever saw him. I called out to him, but he didn't answer. Mom finally got through and called him, but he didn't answer. We thought he was messing with us, probably hiding. But when we went upstairs and into that room - it was a bedroom - he wasn't there. He wasn't anywhere in the house."
"There were no signs or clues at all?" asked Christian.
"None whatsoever," Izzy leaned back in her chair and closed her eyes again. "It was like he vanished from the earth. Ethan, Chris, we tore that place apart, and he was just gone."
"Out of all of us, I guess Mom was affected the most. I didn't know it at the time, but I think the loss of my brother caused her to lose her mind. I found out later that she was constantly at that house searching for him."
