Though he had not been successful, the priest did not give up. The next time, he sent a married couple from his church. They were a duo who often dealt with situations such as mine, and they supposedly had a high success rate.
The couple who came to my house operated as a team. The husband, Michael, was the investigator, and the wife, Alma, introduced herself as a medium. Though they were religious figures who were active in a local church, the wife told me that being a medium was little more than being extremely sensitive to the "spiritual environment." She said there was no contradiction between being a follower of Christ as well as a psychic medium. Her ability, she said, was just a "gift from God." She also said the empath who had earlier visited my house had "done everything properly." Sometimes you are successful, she stated, and sometimes you are not.
The couple interviewed me and, as before, I gave them very little detail about what had been happening to me. They then set up cameras in the living room. When they were done, we waited. I was advised to carry out my normal routine, and the couple would simply observe.
Around 9 p.m. the next night, the unfriendly force upset the rocker and threw me out onto the floor. At this time, the medium declared that she sensed a male presence, very hostile, in the room. She told me it was an elderly man named Eugene. She then asked if she could sit in the rocking chair. I agreed.
She had been rocking and channel-surfing (copying my actions) for roughly 30 minutes when a change came over her. Her features, normally pleasant, took on a stern, rough, and aged look. She scowled at me and spoke in an impossibly deep voice.
