He made his way to his office, which was a short distance away from the school cafeteria. He opened the door with his key, stepped inside, and turned on the lights. The lights revealed a festive Christmas tree that his secretary had erected, and they also revealed something else: She was there. She was sitting in his chair.
The professor bowed slightly. He then made his way to a cabinet from which he removed two glasses. He filled them with his favorite red wine and placed one in front of his guest. He sipped wine from the other glass.
"Good evening," said Duncan. "I'm Professor Jim Duncan, and I'm sorry to say that I didn't get to introduce myself earlier."
"It's nice to meet you, Mr. Duncan. I am Amunet, though most call me Abigail, Abigail Zealotes."
"Like Simon in the Bible?"
