Elisabeth's Loss, Part 5
"Where did he go?" she asked.
"To that center room, right there," Izzy pointed.
"Mikey, come on, it's time to go," Elisabeth called out. There was no answer.
Elisabeth and Izzy went up the stairs. "Which room?" asked Elisabeth.
"This one," Izzy pointed it out. Elisabeth opened the door.
"Mikey?" Again, there was no answer.
For the next half hour or so, Elisabeth, accompanied by Izzy, searched the entire house. There was no trace of Mikey.
